I have been writing and editing professionally for over 10 years. I currently live in western Montana, but I have called over a dozen different states home during my lifetime.
My work has been published locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, on topics ranging from chess masters to climate change. I most enjoy writing about the outdoors and spend what free time I have hunting, fishing, and camping.
I am a member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America and was nominated for their Bodie McDowell award as a graduate student. I am a recipient of the Edwin R. Hunter Award for Excellence in Research in English or American Literature and the Alexander English Prize.
